（中央社記者李晉緯里約10日電）中華隊帕運桌球好手林晏弘在大學時開始著迷桌球，雖因身障未能進到校隊，但他靠著模仿校隊選手的訓練、動作，無師自通的逐步提升自己實力，如今成為連5屆帕運國手。
自2000年雪梨帕運後，連5屆帕運身披中華隊戰袍的林晏弘其實直到上大學後，才因為不再有升學壓力，開始認真打桌球，因為身障的關係，他始終未能加入校隊，但他沒有放棄自己的桌球夢，默默觀察校隊的訓練方式、校隊選手的動作，並試著讓自己打出與校隊選手一樣的好球。
「我始終沒進到校隊，但畢業前的實力已經接近校隊水準」，林晏弘說。
靠著驚人的模仿能力與持續不斷的苦練，林晏弘終於打出一片天，並站上帕運舞台。
2000年的雪梨帕運是林晏弘首次參加帕運，他和隊友周長生當時一路殺進金牌戰，當時要打5點賽事，第1點單打林晏弘率先拿下，在周長生輸掉第2點單打後，兩人聯手拿下第3點雙打，眼看只要再拿1點就能奪下金牌，但兩人在後面兩點的單打都未能獲勝，只能拱手將金牌送給韓國隊。
林晏弘說，當時以為贏定了，沒想到被韓國隊追趕上來，他和隊友一時慌張，就讓韓國逮到機會逆轉，這一切都是他們自己心理素質不夠堅強，遇到危機就自亂陣腳所致。
林晏弘表示，那場比賽是他打球那麼多年來印象最深刻的比賽，雖然結果不是最完美的，但從此體會到比賽領先時不要高興太早，被追趕上時也不要太緊張，無論如何都要堅持到最後，有了這樣的體悟，後來參加比賽遭逆轉的情況就大為減少，可見那次的失敗對他來說仍有相當的收穫。
縱使隊友已經退休，林晏弘從雪梨帕運至今一共5屆的帕運都沒缺席，他說，20年來每年出國比賽拚積分，或參加亞帕運、帕運，都要動用自己的休假、公假，還好他服務的台中法院十分支持他，才讓他能無後顧之憂的訓練、比賽。
林晏弘提到，他已經退休，有更充裕的時間準備比賽，但現在國際選手有年輕化趨勢，對手個個速度快、反應好，體力也比他更充沛，他雖能靠經驗稍微彌補這些劣勢，但比賽已經感到越來越吃力，所以這次可能是他最後一次參加帕運了。
即便如此，林晏弘說，既然來到里約就不輕言放棄，他會以平常心應戰，目標先鎖定8強，若能搶進8強之林，就全力爭取站上頒獎台的機會。1050911

等了4年，鼻竇炎患者鼻子終於通了！國泰醫院今年8月間送愛到斐濟，協助一名40多歲的鼻竇炎患者手術，他這些年苦於鼻竇炎、鼻息肉困擾，根本無法好好呼吸，而當地醫師缺乏，小小手術竟要等上2年，這名男子在國泰團隊的內視鏡鼻竇手術後，感動到眼眶泛紅。
國泰醫院自2014年起承接衛生福利部「太平洋友邦及友我國家醫療合作計畫」，今年8月中旬前往斐濟，在斐濟北方大島Vanua Levu服務一周，協助當地患者進行耳鼻喉科手術。
耳鼻喉科醫師薛婉儀回憶，有名年約40歲的男性，飽受鼻竇炎、鼻息肉困擾，息肉充滿鼻子，造成呼吸困難，3-4年來只能用嘴巴呼吸，她為病患進行內視鏡鼻竇手術後問他：「你可以用鼻子呼吸嗎？」病人深深吸一口氣，瞬間露出開心微笑，眼眶含淚地說：「終於能用鼻子呼吸了。」
斐濟的耳鼻喉專科醫師缺乏，手術更難求，薛婉儀表示，還有位60歲鼻息肉嚴重的男性，聽到醫療團前往斐濟服務，凌晨3點就從家裡出門趕到醫院，花上一整天等看病，卻因氣喘控制不好，經醫師評估無法手術，只能以藥物治療，病人臉上失落的表情讓她相當不捨。
率團的心臟內科醫師王晨旭指出，該院已經第3年、第5度前往斐濟服務，本次除了協助患者手術，另還有一名放射科醫師前往，協助當地醫師判讀病患檢查數據，國泰團隊並與當地醫院合作，完成24小時心電圖監測及遠距醫療訊號分析，縮短兩地醫療上的空間距離。
